The prophet Exekiel said this, referring to the provision of the river of God:
Eze 47:9 “It will come about that every living creature which swarms in every place where the river goes, will live. And there will be very many fish, for these waters go there and the others become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes. …Eze 47:12 “By the river on its bank, on one side and on the other, will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither and their fruit will not fail. They will bear every month because their water flows from the sanctuary, and their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.”
Just prior to His ascension into heaven, Jesus was with His disciples and said:
Mark 16: 17 “These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name [Jesus] they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; :18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” :19 So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. :20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.
